Dress Making Classes
At The Cloth Store we run a series of classes that are not only informative but good fun too!
Throughout the year the Dressmaking classes are extremely popular, and consist of 2 courses.
The “Beginners Course” is designed for the absolute beginner or those who used to dress make and are now rusty and in need of refreshing their skills and having their confidence renewed. It is a 6 week course during which students will complete at least one garment themselves.
The second course is “Intermediate Dressmaking”. Often students enrol in this course when they have completed the Beginners classes. This is not a requirement, but students for this course must have a reasonable sewing ability. It is a 6 week course in which students are taught more advanced techniques to increase their skills so that they are able to make up more complex garments.
We also run classes in aspects of needlework (Patchwork and quilting), Card making, Beads and beading, Jewellery making, Bag making, and Making Blinds, Curtains and Cushions.
The programme for classes for 2007 will be available in September 2007, and the classes will start
in October 2007. Classes take place at The Cloth Store in Crawley and more information will be posted on the site as it becomes available.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
